Jean Francis and Alessandra Quaglia, both chefs, met in France while brushing shoulders in the kitchen of several hotels. Romance and marriage followed soon after. They worked together again in Vancouver at the Wall Center Hotel. In December 1997 they bravely embarked upon a project called Provence Mediterranean Grill. With it's cozy neighborhood feel, this Point Grey restaurant enjoys enormous success, with a loyal local following. The restaurant won Gold for Best Bistro in the 2002 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards. Building on their success, and wishing to share their love of French/Italian cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere, they bring you Provence Marinaside on Vancouver's trendy Yaletown waterfront. Beautiful, flavourful food without pretense. What more could you ask for?
